महाराष्ट्र 14 न्यूज, (दि.१३ जुलै) : महाराष्ट्रात यंदा सरासरीपेक्षा जास्त पाऊस होणार असल्याचं हवामान विभागाकडून स्पष्ट करण्यात आलं आहे. त्यातच पुणे जिल्ह्यात काल जोरदार पावसाने हजेरी लावल्याचं पाहायला मिळालं. पिंपरी-चिंचवड व मावळ भागातील नागरिकांची तहान भागवणाऱ्या पवना धरणाचा पाणीसाठा या पावसामुळे वाढला आहे.
मंगळवार दि. १३ जुलै रोजी २४ तासात पवना धरण परिसरात ५१ मिलिमीटर पावसाची नोंद झाली असून धरण ३३.६० टक्के भरलं आहे. पवना धरणातील १ जून पासून पाणीसाठा २.०१ टक्के ने वाढला आहे. मागील वर्षीही आजच्या दिवशी ३३.६० % इतकाच पाणीसाठा होता.
गतवर्षीच्या तुलनेत या वर्षी आजच्या तारखेतील धरणातील पाणीसाठा हा जवळपास सारखाच असल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे. गेल्या 24 तासात पवना धरणातील पाणीसाठ्यात थोड्याफार प्रमाणात वाढ झाल्याचं पाहायला मिळालं. त्यामुळे परिसरातील नागरिकांमध्ये समाधानकारक वातावरण पाहायला मिळत आहे.
दरम्यान, पवना धरणातून पिंपरी-चिंचवड व मावळ भागातील नागरिकांना पाण्याचा पुरवठा होत असतो. तसेच यंदा धरण क्षेत्रामध्ये समाधानकारक पाऊस पडत असल्याने शेतकऱ्यांसह शहरी भागातील नागरिकांच्या पाण्याचा प्रश्न मिटणार असल्याचं पाहायला मिळत आहे. मावळ परिसरात प्रामुख्याने तांदूळ हे पीक घेतलं जातं, त्यामुळे यंदा पाऊस सुरुवातीलाच समाधानकारक पडत असल्याने तांदुळ लागवडीसाठी पोषक व गरजेचं असलेलं वातावरण आणि पाण्याचा मुबलक साठा उपलब्ध होत आहे.
