याला प्रतिसाद देत कोरोनामुक्त हे यशवंतराव चव्हाण स्मृती रुग्णालयात जाऊन प्लाजमा दान करत आहेत, मागील महिन्यात पिंपळे गुरवच्या नगरसेविका त्यांचे पती आणि कुटुंबातील अनेक जणांना कोरोनाची लागण झाली होती, त्यातून पूर्ण कुटुंब उपचार घेऊन ठीक झाले, त्यातीलच प्रकाश लोखंडे या युवकाने आयुक्त आणि महापौर यांनी केलेल्या आवाहनाला प्रतिसाद देत आज प्लाजमा दान केले आणि अत्यवस्थ असणाऱ्या पॉझिटीव्ह रुग्णांना मदतीचा हात देऊन आपले समाजसेवेचे कर्तव्य बजावले.
यावेळी बोलताना ‘प्रकाश लोखंडे’ म्हणाले कोरोनाच्या या संसर्ग काळात नागरिकांनी भयभीत न होता आपली आपल्या कुटुंबाची आणि समाजाची काळजी घ्यावी व कोरोनामुक्त झालेल्या तरुणांनी पुढे येऊन या संकटात सापडलेल्या रुग्णांना प्लाजमा दान करून मदतीचा हात द्यावा.
असे काम करते प्लाझ्मा फोरेसिस?
प्लाझ्मा थेरपीमध्ये कोरोनातून पूर्णपणे ठीक झालेल्या व्यक्तीच्या शरीरातील रक्त घेतले जाते. रक्ताचा वापर करून अँटीबॉडिजयुक्त प्लाझ्मा वेगळे केले जातात. त्यानंतर प्लाझ्मा कोरोनाची लागण झालेल्या रुग्णाच्या शरीरात इंजेक्ट केला जातो. जेव्हा शरीर कोणत्याही बॅक्टेरियाच्या संपर्कात येते तेव्हा रोगप्रतिकारक यंत्रणा स्वयंचलितपणे सक्रिय होते आणि अँटीबॉडिज रिलीज होतात. कोरोना विषाणूच्या संसर्गापासून बरे झालेल्या रुग्णांमध्ये प्लाझ्मामध्ये अँटीबॉडिज असतात जे आधी कोरोनाशी लढलेले असतात. यासाठी पूर्णपणे बरे झालेल्या रुग्णांकडून प्लाझ्माफेरसिस या यंत्राद्वारे प्लाझ्मा संकलित केला जातो. हा प्लाझ्मा कोणत्या रुग्णाला द्यायचा, हे डॉक्टर्स ठरवितात.
