महाराष्ट्र 14 न्यूज, (दि२९सप्टेंबर) : आमदार ‘लक्ष्मण जगताप’ यांच्या सततच्या पाठपुराव्यामुळे शासनाला जाग आली आहे. त्यामुळे येथुन पुढे धर्मादाय अंतर्गतील सर्व रुग्नालयांना धर्मादाय हा शब्द नावात वापरणे बंधनकारक करण्यात आले आहे.
आरोग्यदुत आणि महाराष्ट्रात सर्वात जास्त आरोग्य क्षेत्रात अग्रेसर असलेले पिंपरी-चिंचवड चे एकमेव आमदार लक्ष्मण जगताप यांच्या प्रयत्नाला यश आल्याचे दिसून येत आहे.
पुण्यातील 56 रुग्णालयांकडून अंमलबजावणी होणार.
पुणे शहरातील रुबी हॉल क्लिनिक, जहांगीर हॉस्पिटल, पुना हॉस्पिटल, संचेती हॉस्पिटल, सह्याद्री, दीनानाथ मंगेशकर हॉस्पिटल, आदित्य बिर्ला हॉस्पिटल ही सर्व हॉस्पिटल्स धर्मादाय आयुक्‍तालयाच्या अंतर्गत येत असल्याची मुळी कल्पनाच रुग्णांना नसल्यामुळे रुग्ण या रुग्णालयांच्या चकचकीत पणा कडे बघत घाबरत होते.मुळात ही सर्व मोठमोठी धर्मादाय रुग्णालये असुन सुद्धा या पंचतारांकित रुग्णालयांकडे अनेकदा गरीब रुग्ण घाबरुन मागे फिरतात.
याच गोष्टीची जाणीव ठेऊन आमदार लक्ष्मण जगताप यांनी वेळोवेळी विधान सभेमध्ये प्रश्न उपस्थित करुन, मुख्यमंत्र्यांना व धर्मादाय आयुक्तांना पत्रव्यवहार करून वेळोवेळी पाठपुरावा केला शासनाला जाग आणुन दिली आणि आज अखेर या प्रयत्नाला यश आले आहे. याचा फायदा संपुर्ण महाराष्ट्रातील गोरगरीब जनतेला होणार आहे.
उंच उंच चकचकीत रुग्णालयात धर्मादाय आहे याची कल्पना अनेक रुग्णांना नसते. त्यामुळे अनेक रुग्ण सवलतीच्या दरांतील तसेच मोफत उपचारांच्या योजने पासून वंचित राहतात. पुढील काळात असे होऊ नये म्हणून आता या धर्मादाय रुग्णालयांना त्यांच्या नावापुढे धर्मादाय हा शब्द लावणे बंधनकारक करण्यात आले आहे. यामुळे पुण्यातील 56 धर्मादाय रुग्णालयांना धर्मादाय हा शब्द त्यांच्या नावापुढे लावावा लागणार आहे.
राज्यातील सर्व रुग्णालयांना आदेश लागू
धर्मादाय शब्द लावण्या बाबतचा निर्णय संपूर्ण राज्यासाठी लागू आहे. राज्यात एकूण 430 धर्मादाय रुग्णालये असून त्यांतर्गत दहा टक्के खाटा या 1 लाख 80 हजार वार्षिक उत्पन्न असलेल्या आर्थिक दुर्बलांसाठी तर आणखी दहा टक्के खाटा या निर्धन 85 हजार वार्षिक उत्पन्न असणाऱ्या रुग्णांसाठी राखीव आहेत. आर्थिक दुर्बल रुग्णांना उपचारांमध्ये 50 टक्के सवलत तर निर्धन रुग्णांना पूर्णपणे मोफत उपचार मिळण्याची तरतूद उच्च न्यायालयाने 2003 मध्ये एका निकालाद्वारे केली आहे.
राज्यातील सर्व धर्मादाय रुग्णालयांना त्यांच्या नावापुढे “धर्मादाय’ हा शब्द लावण्याचे निर्देश बैठकीत दिले आहेत. त्यामुळे सर्वसामान्यांना ते रुग्णालय धर्मादाय आहे की नाही याची माहिती होईल. वरून कॉर्पोरेट वाटणाऱ्या धर्मादाय रुग्णालयांत गरीब रुग्णांना उपचार घेता येईल.
